What is Letters From Mr. Kringle®?

Letters From Mr. Kringle is a service that offers children the opportunity to receive an authentic, personalized letter from Santa Claus in the mail.

What is the appropriate age group for receiving a letter?

The letters are composed for above average reading levels (3rd grade+), but may be enjoyed by any age group. The use of a wide vocabulary and historical vernacular enhances the believability of the penmanship, encourages the learning of new words, and adds a fun deciphering element to the experience that the entire family can do together.

How much does it cost?

Letters From Mr. Kringle are $14 and include USPS First Class Shipping. Letters shipped after December 13th increase in price as upgraded shipping methods are needed to ensure delivery by or before Christmas Eve.

Do I have to choose a letter template or can I create my own?
Wish to pen your message? Simply choose the “Write-Your-Own-Letter” option as your template.
Which parts of the letters are customizable?

Any sections within the letter templates that appear in bold may be customized to your specifications.

When do I personalize my letter?
Once you purchase your letter(s), a confirmation email will be sent containing a link to personalize your letter template and approve it for print. You will be asked to provide your order number. This can be found on the upper right corner of your confirmation email.

Can I send 1 letter to multiple children?

To make the experience special for each child, the letter templates are designed to focus on the celebration of 1 child.

Can I order multiple letters in 1 transaction?

Indeed! You can select multiple letters and designate a specific mailing address for each recipient.

I'm ordering a letter for more than 1 child. Will they get the same letter?

If you are purchasing letters for multiple children in a household, we suggest choosing a different template for each.

Where do you ship to?
We currently mail letters anywhere within the United States.
Can I ship to a different address other than my own?
Yes! You will be asked to provide a specified mailing address for each letter recipient.
What shipping method do you use?

The default shipping method for all letters is the United States Postal Service and sent First Class Mail. To ensure receipt on or before Christmas Eve, orders for December 16th must ship Priority Mail (4-5 business days); orders scheduled December 20th must ship Express Mail (1-2 business days).

Can I upgrade my shipping?

Shipping preferences automatically upgrade before checkout to ensure delivery by or before Christmas Eve.

It's after December 9th. Why is it making me upgrade my shipping before checkout?

Orders shipping before December 13th, will be sent USPS First Class Mail (7-10 business days) unless otherwise specified. To ensure receipt on or before Christmas Eve, orders for December 16th must ship Priority Mail (4-5 business days); orders scheduled December 18th must ship Express Mail (1-2 business days).

How do I know my order has shipped?
Within 24 hours of your scheduled ship date, an email notification will be sent letting you know your order has been released to USPS for delivery.
When are Letters From Mr. Kringle sent?

Letters are put into the mail on the date selected during your scheduling process. This is also the date indicated on your confirmation email.

First Class Mail: Fridays November 25th, December 2nd, December 9th, Wednesday December 14th.
Priority Mail: Friday December 16th
Express Mail: Tuesday December 20th

When will the letter(s) arrive?
Letters can arrive in as few as 2 days, but could take 7-10 days. Because this is peak season for the United States Postal Service (USPS), we are unable to provide the exact date when your letter will reach its destination.
Will my name appear on the letter as the sender?

All letters will be addressed and mailed to the recipients address you provided during the scheduling process. Return address will be listed from Santa Claus as shown on envelope sample.

When is the deadline to ensure Christmas Eve delivery?

The last day for sending a Letter From Mr. Kringle is:
First Class Mail – December 13, 2024
Priority Mail – December 16, 2024
Express Mail – December 18, 2024

Will I receive an email confirmation for my order?

Your “Email Confirmation” containing the details of your mailing, as well as the link to personalize your letter, will be automatically sent once you’ve completed your order.

Can I make changes to an order after it has been placed?

Yes! You can make changes to your letter up until you approve the proof to be printed. Once you order is printed it cannot be canceled.

I never received my email confirmation. What should I do?

If you do not receive the email confirmation within 30 minutes of completing your purchase, please email customerservice@mrkringle.com.

What if a letter arrives damaged?

If a letter arrives damaged, please email us at customerservice@mrkringle.com and another letter will be mailed out immediately.

I never received my letter(s). What should I do?

If a letter does not arrive within 10 days of a First Class ship date, please email us at customerservice@mrkringle.com and another letter will be mailed out immediately. Letters sent Priority or Express Mail can be tracked. Contact us for more information.
