Explore The City During The Holidays By Taking The Downtown Cleveland Christmas Tour!

Enjoy a nostalgic walking tour amongst the holiday lights. Visit the sites of Cleveland’s most beloved holiday memories, including the department store where Mr. Jingeling originated.

About The Tour

This Christmas walking tour combines the history of some of downtown’s most famous buildings along with that of Cleveland’s many Christmas traditions. The stroll down Euclid Avenue pays special interest to Cleveland’s grand department stores of the past and their Christmas delights like Higbee’s Twigbee Shop, Halle Bros. Mr. Jingeling and the Sterling-Linder Christmas tree. Experience downtown all decorated for the holidays! The tour starts in Public Square and ends in Playhouse Square with a stop in the Arcade.

What To Wear

Face masks are encouraged for indoor stops but not required at this time.

On your tour of Downtown Cleveland the most important thing to remember is to wear comfortable walking shoes, and dress for the weather! Tours are rain, snow or shine, so bring an umbrella if it looks like it will be needed.

Private Tours

Private group tours are available. This option is great for those folks who wish to avoid crowds. Specific sites of interest may be able to be incorporated into the tour, with prior notice. Rates vary on the size of the group. Contct Tours Of Cleveland to discuss specifics.
